<a title="Aishwarya Rai Bachchan" href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/aishwarya-rai-bachchan-all" target="_blank">Aishwarya Rai Bachchan</a> is currently busy with her upcoming film, 'Fanney Khan' with Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. The gorgeous beauty has a list of films on her bucket list. After 'Fanney Khan', she begins shooting for the remake of the 1961 mystery thriller, 'Raat Aur Din'.
Buzz is, Aish has been approached for another project which is titled 'Jasmine', where the female protagonist will be essaying the character of a surrogate mother. The film is said to be based on a real-life story set in Gujarat. A <a title="Aishwarya Rai Bachchan" href="https://mumbaimirror.indiatimes.com/entertainment/bollywood/aishwarya-in-a-surrogacy-drama/articleshow/62406812.cms" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Mumbai Mirror</a> report suggests that the makers of 'Jasmine' are in talks with Aishwarya. The film is a co-production between Shree Narayan Singh (Toilet: Ek Prem Katha director) and Prernaa Arora's KriArj Entertainment.
'Jasmine' has been penned by Siddharth and Garima, who had earlier scripted 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha'. In fact, Batti Gul Meter Chalu, starring Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam will mark Sidharth and Garima's directorial debut.

Shree Narayan Singh confirmed the news to the tabloid and said that they were looking for a financial backing. "It is inspired by a real-life story of a woman in Gujarat who doesn't want to have children but decides to become a surrogate mother to someone else. After a point she gets attached to the child and wants the child back," said Singh. He also added that the film will go on floors after monsoon as the writers need some time to polish the script.
Giving some more insights into the film, producer Prernaa Arora also revealed the reason why Singh won't be helming 'Jasmine'. She asserted, "He will be busy with Batti Gul Meter Chalu. That's why we are launching two new directors. We will still have him as editor and co-producer."
"We would love to have her but it will depend on her dates," said Prernaa, when the publication interrogated her about Aishwarya's casting.&nbsp;
