Veteran social activist Anna Hazare is on a fast-unto-death against corruption at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. The 72-year-old activist is on a hunger strike demanding the government to draft a new Lokpal Bill, which will give more powers to the ombudsman to check corruption.



We might be notorious for being on the list of "most corrupt" countries in the world, but a resurgent India is changing its ways. Realising this, B-Town actors and directors have pledged support to a cause being fought for by social activist Anna Hazare. Some even go as far as saying they would support him by fasting for a day. WHY IS ANNA HAZARE FASTING? I believe that it is a positive step towards eradicating corruption.
DO YOU SUPPORT HIM? I support the cause Anna Hazare is fighting. I will be wearing a black band on my wrist tomorrow to prove my solidarity and support.
WOULD YOU FAST FOR A DAY? I am working non-stop right now, so I do not think it will be possible to fast for an entire day. However on my next day off, I will do so 100 per cent.
