Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who underwent two abdominal surgeries Saturday, tweeted fans about his condition as soon as he could from the hospital bed and thanked them for their wishes, which he feels never fails.

Big B's scheduled abdominal surgery went off smoothly Saturday morning at the SevenHills Hospital here. His abdominal pain was due to an injury he suffered during shooting of "Coolie" in 1982.
