The team behind the movie were expecting it to do well as the buzz around the fun-filled youth-centric drama was strong, thanks to the promos and peppy entertaining songs &quot;Balam pichkari&quot; and &quot;Badtameez dil&quot;. Talking about the pre-release positive vibes around the feel-good movie, Deepika said: &quot;Somewhere we started feeling it when we were promoting last week - there was a massive buzz. It was a great feeling.&quot; &quot;People today are aware of box office and how much it is going to do. We were expecting it to collect a certain figure, but the collection has surpassed our expectation. Some people had predicted a certain figure for &quot;Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani&quot; at the box office, informs the 27-year-old, but &quot;for it to do Rs.19 and-a-half crore on Friday and Rs.20 plus crore on Saturday is humongous&quot;. &quot;Honestly, I never really enjoy discussing numbers. It feels great when people say that the film has opened as that is what you want at the end of the day,&quot; added Deepika. Meanwhile, the actress is also happy with critics for the ratings they gave to her film. &quot;What is even more overwhelming is that along with the numbers you have great reviews. This is what you want to achieve with your films. You want the numbers to be successful and it should have great reviews too,&quot; she said.
