Remember Malaika Arora Khan's sensuous pole dance number 'Maahi Ve' from 2002 heist drama, 'Kaante'? It had got Bollywood buffs hooting and hollering. Now, Zareen Khan is gearing up to weave the same magic in the chartbuster's recreated version in Vishal Pandya's 'Wajah Tum Ho' starring Sharman Joshi and Rajniesh Duggall.
"I am super excited to have been chosen for the recreated version of Malaika's iconic song," Zareen gushes, adding, "Stepping into her shoes comes with a lot of pressure; she looked really hot in that number."
At this point, Zareen doesn't reveal if she will also do the pole dance. She only says she will start rehearsing next week. "The shoot is scheduled to take place towards the month-end. It is one of my all time favourite songs, so I am excited and nervous at the same time. I hope I can do justice to it."
Ask Pandya why he chose Zareen for the song and he says, "It's a cult song and we wanted someone who could take it to another level."
