Tynion IV, who has written many Batman projects, including co-writing the newly announced Batman and Robin Eternal weekly series to be launched on October 7, called the project ‘a fanboy dream come true’.
He said: “It's always a thrill to see the world of Batman through new eyes.”
It is not the first time DC and IDW are collaborating over a venture. The comic giants have previously come together for Green Lantern/Star Trek venture, which reached comic book stores this week.
