Actors Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson have sparked confirmed romance rumours with their latest appearance at the red carpet of their upcoming film The Naked Gun premiere. Meanwhile, reports claim that their relationship is in the “early stages” after first meeting while filming their latest film. At the event, where they were promoting their new comedy, which releases in theatres this Friday, August 1, Liam reacted to the reports cheekily.

A source close to The Naked Gun told PEOPLE, "It's a budding romance in the early stages. It's sincere, and it's clear they're smitten with each other." Interestingly, the duo brought their two sons to the red carpet at the New York premiere of The Naked Gun on Monday, July 28, where they all posed for a group photo. Anderson has two sons, Brandon, 29, and Dylan, 27, with ex-husband Tommy Lee, while Neeson has Micheál, 30, and Daniel, 28, with his late wife Natasha Richardson.
Liam Neeson reacts to dating rumours
The six of them posing together for photos in front of The Naked Gun posters further added to the speculation. In an Entertainment Tonight interview, Liam and Pamela reportedly teased the cameras by pretending to kiss. They doubled down on the fun the next morning during their appearance on Today. When host Craig Melvin directly asked them, “What’s the deal here?... Are you two an item?” the pair joked around like they did not hear the question.
Liam Neeson then gave a cryptic response saying, “I had never met Pamela before. We met on set. And we discovered we had a lovely, budding chemistry, as two actors. It’s like, ‘Oh, this is nice. Let’s not mould this. Let’s just let it breathe.’ And that’s what we did," he added.
Meanwhile, Craig noted, “We’re watching the beginning of the breathing of a budding relationship… America’s here for it” as Pamela continued to be coy about it. Back in May 2025, she had told Entertainment Weekly that their relationship was “professionally romantic.”
