Global K pop sensation BTS has unveiled an exciting cinematic experience connected to their highly anticipated comeback, giving fans an opportunity to watch their performances in theatres even before the world tour begins. The announcement has sparked widespread excitement among their global fanbase, as the group confirmed that two full length concerts from the upcoming “BTS World Tour ARIRANG” will be screened across theatres worldwide.

BTS to have a theatrical release

The theatre screenings will showcase performances from the tour’s opening concerts scheduled in Goyang on April 11 and Tokyo on April 18, 2026. Designed as part of a global live viewing initiative, the screenings aim to recreate the electrifying atmosphere of a BTS concert for fans who may not be able to attend the stadium shows in person. The events are expected to reach thousands of theatres across more than 75 countries, making it one of the largest cinema broadcasts ever linked to a music tour.

Advance ticket sales are set to begin on February 25, allowing the group’s loyal ARMY to secure seats early. Depending on regional time differences, some screenings will be broadcast live while others will be slightly delayed to ensure audiences everywhere get the best possible viewing experience.

The theatrical release is strategically aligned with major milestones in BTS’s comeback schedule. The group is expected to drop their new album “ARIRANG” on March 20, followed by a free comeback concert at the historic Gwanghwamun Square on March 21. The event will also be streamed globally, allowing millions of fans to join the celebration virtually.

All about the ARIRANG world tour

After these special events, BTS will launch an expansive world tour spanning dozens of cities and more than 80 shows, marking a powerful return to large scale live performances after their recent hiatus. By blending theatre screenings, live streaming, and traditional concerts, the group continues to redefine how audiences experience music. The initiative reflects BTS’s ongoing commitment to innovation and their ability to connect with fans across borders, reinforcing their position as one of the most influential music acts in the world today.
