BLACKPINK member Jisoo's agency denies link to brother's sexual assault probe, warns on legal action

BLACKPINK's Jisoo addressed controversy after her brother was accused of molestation. Her agency BLISSOO clarified she has no connection to the case, lives separately from family, and warned of legal action against misinformation

Jisoo, one of K-pop’s biggest stars and BLACKPINK's member, has found herself at the center of controversy. On April 16, reports emerged that Kim Jung Hoon, Jisoo’s older brother, had been arrested on charges of sexually molesting a female broadcast jockey (BJ). In response, on April 20, attorney Eun Hyun Ho of Kim & Chang, the legal representative for Jisoo’s agency BLISSOO, released an official statement clarifying that both the artist and the company are not connected to the matter.

Jisoo denies family link to matter

Jisoo’s legal representative has issued an official statement addressing recent speculation surrounding a family-related controversy. “The issue currently being raised has nothing to do with the artist or BLISSOO,” said attorney Eun Hyun Ho of the Seoul-based law firm Kim & Chang, who represents the agency.
