Five of the seven members of BTS are presently working on their new music in Los Angeles, USA. They are getting ready to make a full-group comeback in the spring of 2026. They used their downtime to hold livestreams, shop, and work out while consistently attending recording sessions. Recently, a fan posted a photo of a lucky encounter with RM and V after a workout. The story went viral, and fans had mixed reactions to it.
Fan shares an anecdote of meeting BTS' V and RM
Social media is buzzing around a recent fan story of a purported coincidental meeting between V and BTS leader RM. According to the fanboy, he encountered the musicians while working out at a Los Angeles gym. He claimed to have recognised V but was unsure about RM because he didn't look like the photos he had taken. He said that V asked him if a specific bench was available for use for working out by tapping his shoulder.
In the midst of his panic over the sudden encounter, the fanboy managed to request a picture. However, as they were engaged in their leisure activities, V and RM politely declined him. The fanboy added that V gave him a smile and said "bye" as he was leaving the gym.
He shared the story on TikTok, and the BTS ARMY had mixed feelings about it. Some were delighted for him, while others were jealous. Even more relatable was the lucky fanboy's remark, "I swear, I’m not washing that t-shirt [which V touched] for at least a month."
Fans were concerned about BTS members' privacy
Fans were alarmed about possible privacy concerns for the artists when the fan who purportedly met the BTS members at a gym in Los Angeles shared video of the scene. "I saw that video, and the guy has 500k+ followers," one of them said. I'm concerned that the stalkers will figure out where the gym is. Others responded by asking fans to stop sharing the video further, stressing the value of respecting the private lives of K-pop singers, and even suggesting that the initial post be reported.
