BTS have been hiatus as a group since last year to pursue personal projects and travels - but each member has been turning heads in their own unique ways.

Kim Taehyung, also known as V, was recently appointed as global ambassador for French luxury label, CELINE. Taehyung took to Instagram to share videos of himself styled in the collection's custom pieces in an exclusive photoshoot with Esquire, Korea.

The first video features Taehyung flaunting his blond hair and exuding Prince Charming energy in CELINE's red military jacket. With small hoops and an understated neck pendant, we can't take our eyes away from this model. The label captioned the video as 'The red military jacket in the Celine Homme Winter 2023 seems to have been designed for V. This was the perfect match for the iconic one with the world on his palm. Let V’s look drag us into the world where he takes control'. And V is definitely taking control, alright!

Taehyung has been teasing ARMYs for quite some time now with glimpses of him wearing a fishnet top - and we finally know why! The second Esquire video saw Taehyung donning the 54th outfit from the Celine Homme Winter 2023 runway. It combined three very unusual pieces - a fishnet top, leather jacker and fur coat. These three completely different pieces brought out the sensual and animal-like charm and versatility of Kim Taehyung, and this is exactly what CELINE wanted to showcase through their shoot. "His very own language delivers Celine’s message clearly only with a look and gesture," Esquire said.

The third video showcased V walking confidently towards the camera in an oddly familiar all-black outfit with a gold-buttoned jacket. Taehyung had already teased this outfit as well in an earlier Instagram post! If Taylor Swift is the queen of Easter eggs, BTS is not too far behind.

V had flown to Paris to attend CELINEs ‘HOMME Summer 24 Show.’ However, riots and protests against police violence have thrown the city into chaos – with destruction of public properties and even deaths, leading to the show standing cancelled.

V, on the other hand, seemed to have stayed indoors and caught up with close friend and fellow CELINE ambassador, Park Bogum. He had earlier shared how he became close to the actor – “Bogum used to be an MC in Music Bank. At that time, we exchanged our contact information and found our common ground. We get along very well in terms of hobbies.” The duo has often shared pictures of each other on social media – on trips, or visits to theme parks and art galleries. With this latest video from Paris, the duo has confirmed that their friendship is going strong!
