RM has delighted fans with a heartwarming and humorous milestone, sharing his very first driving video and proving that it is never too late to learn something new. The BTS leader, who was famously the last member of the group to obtain his driver’s license, finally gave ARMY a glimpse of himself confidently seated behind the wheel.

RM dropped a clip of driving

On February 18, RM posted a short clip on Instagram showing himself carefully driving, both hands on the steering wheel and a slightly nervous yet proud smile on his face. Alongside the video, he wrote, “Let’s laugh and enjoy life,” setting a playful and relaxed tone for the moment. The caption reflected his lighthearted approach and invited fans to celebrate the small but meaningful achievement with him.

For years, RM had been teased about not having a driver’s license while the other members were often seen driving in various shows and behind the scenes clips. He previously revealed that he passed his driving test at the age of 31, making this public driving moment even more special for fans who had followed his journey.

What truly stole the spotlight, however, was his adorable exchange with his mother. After watching the video, she texted him in disbelief, “Son, is this real??” before adding, “Haha, it looks real^^.” Her reaction mirrored what many fans were thinking, given how unexpected the moment felt. RM responded reassuringly, “It’s real,” and jokingly added, “Mom, this isn’t AI…” poking fun at how surreal it seemed even to his own family.

Fans quickly flooded social media with excited reactions, turning the simple driving clip into a celebratory event. Many shared jokes and congratulatory messages, expressing pride in his growth and independence.

While BTS prepares for its much anticipated comeback, RM’s candid and relatable moment offered a refreshing glimpse into his personal life. Beyond the global fame and stage performances, this small victory highlighted his charm, humility, and ability to find joy in everyday experiences.

BTS is all geared up for their grand comeback with ARIRANG in March with their massive world tour.
