Jungkook and Taehyung

BTS's Jungkook dropped his first solo digital single 'Seven' on July 14. The song also features American rapper and singer Latto, while the music video features Han So-hee playing his ladylove.

After engaging extensively in international promotional activities, Jungkook recently returned to Seoul and plans to promote his song more in his home country now. Jungkook has been keeping ARMYs engaged through his frequent livestreams where he shares more about his music-making process and life lately. In yesterday's livestream, he told fans that he was eagerly looking forward to performing at the Inkigayo stage and meeting Korean fans who had been waiting since a long time for him.

His performance garnered a lot of fangirling moments from ARMYs worldwide and Seven also accomplished its third win in South Korea! Traditionally, the winning artist performs once again at the end of the music show. ARMYs were in for the best surprise when none other than Kim Taehyung joined the Golden Maknae on stage!

Taehyung is well-known for being super enthusiastic about his fellow members' projects and often bombs their practices and concert soundchecks. From being an obsessive Cypher fanboy to instantly learning the dance steps to J-Hope's 'Chicken Noodle Soup' and Suga's 'Seesaw,' Taehyung can't stop supporting his members' solo ventures.

This time too, Tae had perfected the sleek moves of 'Seven' and danced seamlessly with Jungkook on stage. Fans were elated to see the two youngest members on stage at the same time!

Jungkook and Kim Taehyung, are known to share a close brotherly bond - and the duo often goofs around with each other as they match 'crackhead' energies. Thus, when Jungkook was asked about the lucky first listener of the track in a recent interview, it's no surprise that he said it was Taehyung!

"Taehyungie hyung (was the first to listen to it) I played seven for him first after recording it. We send each other our songs when we create them." With his classic bunny giggle, Jungkook said that his and Tae's taste in music does not match at all, as the latter prefers calm and cooler songs. However, it is obvious that Jungkook and Tae have musical synergy if he was the first to listen to 'Seven'.

Jungkook's 'Seven' has been garnerning a lot of praise from fans. He recently travelled to the US to kickstart the Good Morning America Summer Concert series with a live performance of the single - but the show stood cancelled due to thunderstorms in the Central Park area in NYC. He also appeared on other shows like BBC Live Lounge and BBC 'The One' show to give stunning renditions of not only 'Seven' but also other BTS songs.
