BTS V just dropped a big piece of good news for the Indian BTS Army. He hinted at his Indian concert, sending the internet into a frenzy. On December 27, BTS member Kim Taehyung casually dropped a comment that set the internet on fire.
BTS V seemingly confirmed the India concert
During his latest Weverse live interaction, BTS V greeted fans with a cheerful "Namaste" before adding the line, which has now gone viral. He said, "Namaste, namaste Indian ARMY. See you next year!"
His single sentence has sparked massive speculation about his upcoming visit to India. Although the singer didn't officially announce tour dates or his visit, his cryptic message left fans assuming that this was a strong hint that India could finally be on BTS’s upcoming concert map.
Naturally, the reaction from Indian ARMY was instant and emotional. Social media platforms, especially X (formerly Twitter), began flooding with excitement. One fan commented, "Wowww, this is true. God himself confirmed." Another user shared their disbelief, saying, "OMG CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT I JUST HEARD!!!!" A third user went on to add, "Seeing them live will finally come true." For many fans, this moment felt surreal as their excitement skyrocketed with just one comment.
BTS World Tour 2026
2026 is gearing up to be a huge year for BTS. All seven members of the boyband, namely, Jin, J-Hope, Suga, RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook, have completed their mandatory military service, following which they returned by June 2025. The group is now working on releasing a new album. After this, they will commence their global world tour in spring 2026.
According to Korean media outlet Naver, the BTS tour could run from May to December 2026 with nearly 65 shows planned worldwide. It is expected to attract close to 4 million fans. Each concert could possibly host over 60,000 attendees.
Adding fuel to the excitement of BTS's India visit, BTS' agency HYBE has recently launched HYBE INDIA in Mumbai. Launched in September 2025, HYBE hinted at a strong push into the Indian market. Notably, BTS had earlier planned a Mumbai visit during their 2020 tour, which was later cancelled. With India’s growing Korean fanbase and HYBE’s local presence, a BTS India concert in 2026 now feels more possible. However, official confirmation is still awaited.
