Popular K-drama actor Park Seo Joon has opened up about being stalked and called it 'Chilling and scary' in a recent interview. On Tuesday, Park Seo Joon spoke to Wikitree ahead of the release of his movie 'Concrete Utopia.'
In June, rumours of the actor dating Youtuber Xooos took fans by surprise. According to several reports in the K-media, the couple had already introduced their close friends to each other, besides going on dates and working out together. A photo of the two with their friends was also shared on June 20, 2023. As quoted by Soompi, Park Seo Joon's agency Awesome ENT had stated “It is difficult to confirm facts related to our artist’s personal life. We’re sorry. Please kindly understand.” Xooos’s agency WAVY when contacted had shared a similar response, “It is difficult to confirm.”

In the new interview the actor revealed that he was stalked for close to two months. He was quoted saying, "Has this ever happened to you? When you leave the parking lot but you see the same car constantly following you? They even know where I am about to go, and there are times when they arrive there before me. These experiences kept me in my room. There are times when the same person follows me in a different car. This happened before and still happens now from time to time. I think these experiences have changed me this way. I live carefully not to cause harm to my family members. Before, I would upload photos of my family members because they liked it, but after going through this, I regret doing so. Once I realized that I could harm the people closest to me, I didn’t know where to draw the line."
The actor said that the experience had left a mark on him. Park Seo Joon revealed this was the reason he didn’t talk about his personal life.
Xooos’s real name is Kim Soo Yeon, and she is a YouTuber and a singer, with over 1.5 million subscribers. Her social media handle has pictures with celebrities, including BLACKPINK’s Jennie and others. She is also an artist under WAVY and has released an EP called Made in Heart on May 30 with tracks like Joy, Fabricated Love, Lavender, Bad At Us and There There.
