About the burglary at Lee Byung Hun's LA house

Lee Byung Hun's agency provided an update following a burglary at the actor's Los Angeles home, which reportedly occurred last week. Despite the break-in, BH Entertainment assured that no damage had been done.

Soompi quoted the police, “This appears to be the act of one of the robbers who break into [houses in] wealthy areas around Los Angeles.” Reportedly, cops don't believe the actor was targeted in the incident. Reportedly, no arrests have been made so far in the matter as the LAPD is investigating it.

This incident follows closely after a burglary at the home of Lena Waithe, the Master Of None actor. TMZ reported that burglars broke into her West Hollywood mansion through a window, resulting in the loss of $200,000 worth of jewelry. Lena Waithe was also out of town when the break-in occurred.

Lee Byung Hun is expected to return to Los Angeles soon. Once he is back and able to identify his belongings in the house, the police will be able to confirm if anything has been stolen.

Lee Byung Hun and his wife, Lee Min Jung, purchased their Los Angeles home in 2019, located around Universal Studios, a popular tourist attraction. The house, suitable for a family of five or six, reportedly cost them around $2 million. Despite the recent incident, Lee Byung Hun remains well-known, particularly for his role in Squid Game, following his Hollywood debut in 2009 with the film G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.
