Actress and social media influencer Archana Kavi recently got married to Rick Varghese. The news was announced by TV host Dhanya Varma, who took to Instagram on Thursday, October 16, to share a heartfelt post congratulating the couple.
Archana Kavi ties the knot
Dhanya shared a picture from the wedding and wrote, "And my darling is married. Archana Kavi and Rick Varghese." The TV host also shared a video from their church wedding, where the couple is seen exchanging rings, surrounded by their friends and family members on their wedding day. In another video, the newlyweds can be seen arriving for the wedding reception party. 'My beloved is married,' read Dhanya's caption.
Interestingly, Archana, too, had earlier hinted at the happy news through one of her Instagram stories, writing, "I found the best man during tough times, and I hope everyone finds theirs too." However, the actress has not announced her wedding officially yet.
The actress had also reportedly revealed how she met her groom in an interview with Dhanya Varma, saying, "My house was under construction in Kannur. There was nothing to do there and that time, I would go through a dating app. I looked at the app and started talking just to pass time. However, we connected quickly. We talked about how life would be together. I shared all my traumas. Rick was the only man who told me to treat a daughter like a princess. He behaved well. No one else has treated me like this. I was close to someone before. He asked me to meet his parents. They spoke very badly to me. However, Rick asked me not to deal with his parents. He also said that his parents are his responsibility. Rick's parents are very good. This is Rick's first marriage,' the actress said in the interview."
Notably, this marks Archana's second marriage. The actress was previously married to comedian and YouTuber Abish Mathew in 2016. However, after five years of marital bliss, the couple parted ways in 2021.
