Finally, the wait is over! The much-awaited Fire Glimpse of the bilingual action-drama Dacoit is here, offering a thrilling peek into its high-octane world filled with intense action and gripping drama. Starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, Dacoit is all set for a grand pan-India theatrical release on 25th December, 2025.

The new one-minute-long teaser of the fire glimpse gives us a view of the nature of the bond between the lead characters. The video opens with Mrunal Thakur bruised and in tears walking into the frame. We get to see a cunning Adivi Sesh who wishes ill for Mrunal's character, hinting at a love gone sour plot. We also see Anurag Kashyap in a totally new avatar but much about his role is not revealed.

About Anurag Kashyap's character in Dacoit
The filmmaker is portraying a fearless inspector who is a staunch Ayyappa devotee with zero tolerance for corruption. Sharp-minded, witty, and sarcastic, his character adds depth to a gripping narrative filled with action, emotion, and drama.
Expressing his excitement about joining the film, Anurag Kashyap shared, “Playing a police officer who is an Ayyappa devotee is both fun and challenging. The conundrum of duty versus dharma, and carrying out his job with a dry sense of humor, is fantastic. I am truly looking forward to playing this character in two languages—shooting in both Hindi and Telugu. Achieving the same impact in both languages is the real challenge, but it’s something I am thoroughly enjoying.”
About Dacoit- Ek Prem Katha
Directed by Shaneil Deo in his directorial debut, this ambitious project is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, co-produced by Suniel Narang, and presented by Annapurna Studios. The film is being shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, with a story and screenplay jointly crafted by Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo. Currently, filming is underway in Hyderabad, followed by an extensive schedule in Maharashtra.
