GV Prakash Kumar's horror thriller Immortal has been postponed from July 23 to September 4 after Vijay's final film Jana Nayagan locked the same release date. Announcing the change, GV Prakash wished Vijay and the team well, saying it was only right to make way for Thalapathy one last time

GV Prakash Kumar's upcoming horror thriller Immortal has officially postponed its theatrical release, making way for Vijay's highly anticipated swansong, Jana Nayagan. The film, which was originally slated to hit theatres on July 23, will now release worldwide on September 4.

The announcement came shortly after the makers of director H Vinoth's Jana Nayagan confirmed that Vijay's final film as a lead actor will arrive in cinemas on July 23. Soon after, GV Prakash took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the revised release date while extending his best wishes to the Vijay-starrer.
