The reporter was asking him some questions, to which the actor replied that he was not aware and moved on. As the reporter tried to move the mic close to him, Mohalal was struck by the mic accidentally. Nevertheless, Mohanlal proceeded and sat in his car.
Mohanlal's call recording
Now, a social media user has shared an audio call recording between the Thudarum star and the reporter, where the actor can be heard consoling the reporter. The reporter allegedly called Mohanlal to apologise for the issue, and the actor was heard replying, "It's okay, moné (Son), let's just forget what happened. It's not a big deal."

"These things happen. What was supposed to hit the eyebrow just hit the eye, that's all! Don't worry. I just forgot it there. Please tell your management and others that I have no issue with you. I was not aware of the social media post as I was busy with events, and you again asked me the same question. That's why I said I have no answers for it and moved on. But it is okay, the media works that way. Don't worry, I'm fine," the actor added.
Before hanging up, the actor said one of his most iconic lines in jest, "I've kept an eye on you, okay, moné?" The internet applauded the actor's poised and humorous reaction.
