Rajinikanth lights up on seeing Jackie Shroff at the audio launch of Jailer; gives him a warm hug

Jackie Shroff, the legendary actor known for his sauve persona, recently graced the grand trailer launch of his much-anticipated movie, 'Jailer.' The event took place at Chennai's prestigious Nehru Indoor Stadium, and the atmosphere was electric with the buzz of excitement and admiration for upcoming movie. 


Dressed in black, both Rajinikanth and Jackie exuded charm and style as they promoted the highly anticipated film. The crowd couldn't contain their enthusiasm, showering them with applause and cheers throughout the event. The audio launch night for Jailer’s song ‘Allaparai Arambam’ was a splendid affair, featuring performances and a big production that added to the glitz and glamour of the occasion.


Jackie Shroff received a heartwarming welcome from the Chennai audience, who eagerly embraced the Bollywood icon. With 'Jailer' set to hit theaters on 10th August, fans are eagerly anticipating witnessing the on-screen magic of these two legendary actors. part from the superstar and Tamannaah, the launch was also attended by director Nelson Dilipkumar and music director Anirudh Ravichander. At the launch, the superstar was seen in a candid mood and addressed several topics.


At the audio launch, Rajinikanth spoke about his tryst with alcoholism. "If there was no alcohol in my life, I would have served the society. Alcoholism is the biggest mistake in life,” he was quoted as saying. Recollecting an incident that happened two years ago, he said, "I once came home drunk at 2 in the night after a successful staging of a play and my brother advised me to only drink to celebrate and not make it a habit". He also said that he would have become a bigger and better star if not for alcoholism.

The actor also spoke about wanting to get rid of the superstar title in film credits.  He had requested the directors to remove the title card, but they had refused to do so. Ending his speech on a powerful note, Rajinikanth addressed the negativity and criticism he often faces, stating, "There are no dogs that don't bark and no tongues that don't criticize, and then there are no places devoid of both." 

This momentous event marks Jackie Shroff's foray into the South Indian film world, as he made his friendly appearance at the warm reception. As the release date approaches, fans can hardly contain their excitement to witness this cinematic spectacle unfold on the silver screen.
