Taking to social media platforms, Sun Pictures has announced that the official trailer of Rajinikanth's much-anticipated film, Coolie, will be out on Saturday, August 2. The film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj ,also features a cameo by Aamir Khan

The makers of the Rajinikanth starrer Coolie recently announced the anticipated trailer release date for the film. Along with the announcement, they also shared a brand new and intense poster featuring the superstar. Clearly, one of the most anticipated films of the year, Coolie has created a lot of buzz among the audience lately, leading to more excitement for the trailer.

Taking to social media platforms, Sun Pictures announced that the official trailer of Coolie will be out on Saturday, August 2. Sharing the news, they wrote, "The wait is over! The highly anticipated Coolie Trailer from August 2. Coolie releasing worldwide August 14th."

Along with the trailer launch details, the makers also released a new poster featuring all the lead actors, including Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, Shruti Haasan, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, and Sathyaraj.
Additionally, the makers are also set to host a grand pre-release event of the film on Saturday at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. Sharing the update on social media, the makers wrote, "Are you ready for the Super Speech? CoolieUnleashed A visual spectacle awaits on August 2nd at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium!"

About Coolie
Coolie is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and made under the banner of Sun Pictures. The upcoming Tamil-language action thriller features the South superstar Rajinikanth headlining the project. With a powerful ensemble of actors in pivotal roles, the film also marks the first collaboration between Rajinikanth and Aamir Khan after nearly 30 years.
The two have previously worked in the 1995 film, Aatank Hi Aatank, which also starred actors Juhi Chawla and Om Puri. The Sitaare Zameen Par actor will be playing the character of Dahaa. A poster of Aamir's look was unveiled earlier this month, which showed Aamir in a bold and rugged avatar.

With the soundtrack of the movie helmed by Anirudh Ravichander, the makers have already released a few songs, including Monica starring Pooja Hegde, Chikitu, and PowerHouse. Coolie is set to hit theatres on August 14. Interestingly, it is set for a box office clash with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR's War 2, which also releases on the same day.
