TV actress Abigail Pande recently took to social media to question the selective outrage on social media when it comes to the rape cases being reported across the country. She even compared the outrage over Kriti Sanon’s outfit in a Raksha Bandhan ad to the response to violence against women.

The actress posted a note on her Instagram Stories on September 25, 2026 and wrote, “So many rapes happening in our country, yet not even half of the outrage as there was for Kriti Sanon’s outfit for an advertisement.” She further questioned, “Or is telling a woman what to wear easier than telling men to control themselves?”
