Though television actress Arti Singh acted in several daily soaps, it was the show 'Waaris' which gave her more prominence and an identity of her own. The actress, in an interview with Bombay Times, stated that she has finally created an identity of her own and is no longer recognised only as comedian Krushna Abhishek's sister. "Krushna had made his name and I was nowhere around. I was only known as his sister, but now, people know me by my name. Now, I earn respect without his name. I have struggled to reach where I am today. I am the horse of a long race, don't want to achieve easy success and then fall flat on my face. My struggle has made me a responsible artiste. In this industry, either luck or talent speaks. My luck is yet to speak," revealed Arti.
