Amaal Mallik has asked fans to stop linking him with Tanya Mittal after Bigg Boss 19. Calling it a “nonsensical romance,” the singer said such speculation is unfair and could tarnish her image, urging people to respect their space

While Bigg Boss 19 has concluded, the contestants continue to remain the talk of the town for their equations outside the show. Recently, a fan shared Amaal Mallik and Tanya Mittal’s clip from the show, in which the two are seen dancing. On Monday night, the music composer took to his X handle and penned a long note, urging everyone not to link him up with her. He also expressed gratitude to her for taking care of him.

Takin to his social media, the singer wrote, “Bhai, yeh ek ‘TASK’ tha, and it’s not right if I act all egoistic and don’t do what the host or guests come and ask of us. If the show needs some people to pair up for a task, do a dance skit, or whatever it is… we have to. That’s the channel creative, and you guys are constantly making this into some nonsensical romance.”
“I am grateful to Tanyamittal for the care and concern she has had for me this season. I know I’ve said things which must’ve hurt her and her fandom as well, but I am truly sorry for whatever I did in anger and to poke her. Just know such things happen, and that’s how one realises his or her shortcomings and works on them,” he continued.

Talking about Amaal and Tanya, they shared a warm equation initially. From making elaichi (cardamom) water to emotionally supporting the singer, the two shared a great bond. However, things soured over time, with Amaal calling Tanya fake. During family week, even Armaan warned him and expressed how a story did not go down well with him, as he felt Tanya instigated Amaal against his brother.
