Bigg Boss 19 has always been known for its drama, but this time, things took a very ugly turn. A recent incident where some housemates body-shamed 21-year-old actress Ashnoor Kaur has left fans and viewers shocked. The clip, reportedly involving Shehbaz Badesha, Amaal Mallik, Abhishek Bajaj, Tanya Mittal, and Neelam Giri, has gone viral, drawing massive outrage for showing insensitivity on national television.

Former Bigg Boss contestant Nishant Malkani came out in support of Ashnoor

Stepping up in her defence, actor Nishant Malkani, who was a part of Bigg Boss 14,  shares a close brotherly bond with Ashnoor, voiced his anger and disappointment. He said, “My heart breaks! How dare they bodyshame Ashnoor so cruelly? She’s just 21! I’m shocked at their words! This must stop and needs to be called out on Weekend Ka Vaar!”

Nishant’s powerful words have struck a chord with fans and the entertainment fraternity alike. Social media is now flooded with messages of support for Ashnoor, praising her for handling the situation with grace, strength, and dignity. Despite being one of the youngest contestants in the Bigg Boss 19 house, she has continued to carry herself with calmness and confidence.

The incident has once again brought attention to the serious issue of body shaming and mental health in reality shows. Such hurtful remarks can deeply affect a person’s confidence and emotional well-being, especially when made on public platforms.

Fans have lauded Nishant for speaking out boldly and standing by what’s right. Many are also urging the Bigg Boss 19 makers to take strict action and ensure contestants understand the impact of their words.

As the debate continues, one message rings loud and clear — body shaming is not entertainment. It’s cruelty, and it must end.

What happened in the Bigg Boss 19 house

Bigg Boss 19 contestants Tanya Mittal and Neelam Giri faced massive backlash after the live feed captured them body-shaming Ashnoor Kaur. Tanya remarked that despite Ashnoor’s regular workouts, she had gained weight, while Neelam said her efforts were ineffective. They also mocked her Weekend Ka Vaar outfit, claiming it didn’t suit her, and made cruel remarks comparing her face and appearance to a “balloon” and a “grandmother.” Others, including Amaal and Shehbaaz, joined in with similar jibes.
