After the much-talked-about reunion of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’s Sakshi Tanwar and Kiran Karmarkar in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, the show is set to feature another high-profile guest, Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist Bill Gates
Bill Gates and Smriti Irani
After the iconic pair of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Sakshi Tanwar and Kiran Karmarkar, made a special appearance in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, another well-known personality is due to appear in the show, although remotely. The creators have filmed a special episode with Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist Bill Gates.
As reported by Bombay Times, the portal's source shared, “The track will culminate in a video call between Bill Gates and Smriti Irani and will span around three episodes. The storyline focuses on creating and improving awareness about the health of pregnant women and newborns. Since the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation actively works on these causes, the collaboration came about naturally. Smriti wanted to use the show as a platform to promote health and social awareness through storytelling.”
Smriti Irani on her bond with Sakshi Tanwar
Smriti recently opened up about her bond with Sakshi Tanwar and their reunion on Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi after a decade, she penned a note on her Instagram post, "Grace, grit and gorgeousness—there are many adjectives that I can ascribe to Sakshi but what I can’t describe is how it felt to embrace the memory and reality of her after 2.5 decades of camaraderie. We didn’t know the ruckus Tulsi Parvati created, for we were not chasing history; we happened to make it while chasing excellence. To say she is a loving mother, a doting daughter, an authentic human being — is to reduce her to just complimentary phrases, to bind her to mere words … so what do you say to her, for this is one person that can make even silences speak. You are loved, Sakshi, and I hope you know you are home, hope and all heart.
When Smriti Irani met Bill Gates
Earlier, Smriti Irani collaborated with Bill Gates as a BJP Leader, as she visited the philanthropist at Davos. She penned a note on Twitter talking about their meetup, "An impactful meeting with Bill Gates at WEF25 to discuss ways to further strengthen the Alliance for Global Good: Gender Equity and Equality. Grateful for his invaluable support and insights in driving this initiative forward. Together, we reaffirmed our shared dedication to empowering women and fostering a more equitable world through collaboration, innovation, and transformative partnerships. The Alliance, supported by the Gates Foundation, stands as a powerful example of what collective leadership and a united vision can achieve in the pursuit of gender equity. Excited to continue this journey of elevating women-led development as a global force for meaningful change."
