Speculations are rife that The Kapil Sharma show is going off air, as Sony has apparently not renewed his contract. Also it has been speculated that Kapil Sharma is not in his best of health. Sony, has another show 'Super Dancer' in pipeline, which means The Kapil Sharma Show can get axed any time.
The rumours intensified when shoots of upcoming films 'Mubarakan' and 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' had to be cancelled due to Kapil's ill-health. However, in an interview Kiku Sharda has rubbished all rumours about the show going off air and Kapil suffering from depression. Kapil Sharma had reportedly been depressed owing to the uncertainty of his show and also because of dwindling TRPs.Kiku Sharda has been one of the pillars of the show and has stuck with Kapil Sharma even through rough times, especially after his public fallout with comedian Sunil Grover.
