Dipika shared that initially, doctors found lymph nodes in her left breast during a mammogram, prompting follow-up tests. However, her liver surgery and recovery delayed further checks.

Dipika Kakar's health has been in the news since the beginning of the year. Her health has experienced many ups and downs, from leaving Celebrity MasterChef because of a hand injury to subsequently receiving a stage 2 liver cancer diagnosis.
She recently had a mammography test and disclosed the reason for it, one and a half months after undergoing liver cancer surgery. In her recent vlog, the actress opened up about how her health hasn't been in the best shape since January.
Details about her diagnosis
Dipika shared about her left shoulder issue during Celebrity MasterChef and how she couldn't bear the pain, "Earlier, it was difficult for us to understand what was happening. First, the diagnosis revealed that there were lymph nodes in the left breast area. At that time, I had thought this might be the reason behind the pain. But in the second diagnosis, it was revealed that I had an injury in my left muscle."
"Back then, when they did a mammography and found the lymph nodes, the doctor had asked them to do another one after three months," Dipika continued. She talked about how it took her more than three months to have the mammogram due to the liver cancer diagnosis, the operation, and the recuperation.
Dipika also detailed how she suffered pain while weaning off Ruhaan, she said, "I suddenly weaned off Ruhaan. Despite taking the tablets to suppress the milk, I felt that there was pain. I thought of taking no risks with my health and got the tests done."
Shoaib reveals the lymph nodes have disappeared
According to Shoaib Ibrahim, a mammogram was performed, and the findings are satisfactory. He even revealed that, happily, the lymph nodes have gone away on their own.
Dipika also revealed that the lymph nodes had become larger by the time of the mammogram in January 2025. The lymph nodes are again normal, she noted.
For those who are unaware, mammography is a specialised medical imaging procedure that uses low-dose X-rays to scan the breast tissue in order to detect breast cancer and other breast disorders early.
