Leaving behind Hina Khan, Vikas Gupta and Puneesh Sharma, 'people's choice' Shilpa Shinde emerged as the Bigg Boss 11's winner, after battling the ups and downs in the 'Bigg Boss' house for three months. She swept away Rs 44 lakhs along with the coveted trophy as the winning prize. Though she was already declared a winner on social media, it was when Salman Khan held Shilpa's hand and announced her as the winner that social media exhaled peacefully. Shinde is glad that she won't be typecast as any television character now but would be known as 'Shilpa Shinde'. The actress claimed that she'll never work in television serials but will fetch out for other options in that arena.
