Actor Farman Haider returns to screens with a new show Jagadhatri, and he exclusively shared insights into his character and creative journey. Known for his calm, grounded personality, Farman revealed that he naturally relates to the emotional depth of the show’s male lead, Shivaay. He even shared how the character is completely different from his previous works. Giving him a chance to experiment on screen.

“I’m very simple and sober,” he said, describing his personal nature. “So I can connect really well with a boy who is very lovable, who is very humble, emotional, who believes in relationships, who values people’s emotions. I’m that kind of person who really loves people, animals, you know. So, I can really connect well with Shivaay.”

Calling his character refreshingly unique, Farman added, “Shivaay is an analogue guy in a digital world. That’s quite interesting.”

A shift from romance to action

While Farman has often been part of shows where romance takes centre stage, Jagadhatri brings a new dimension to his craft. The actor revealed that he plays a powerful role in the narrative. “I’m a colleague of JD,” he shared. “I’m an undercover agent who serves the nation. So yes, I’m an IPS officer.”

This marks a significant shift for the actor, who usually appears in softer, romantic storylines. “As an artist, you are always looking for layers—you want a chance to be versatile,” Farman said. “I’m blessed and really grateful that I got this opportunity to explore something more intense and action-driven.”

Adding Realism to the screen

For Farman, Jagadhatri is more than just a new show—it’s a chance to evolve. The blend of action, layered characters, and emotional storylines offers him an opportunity to push boundaries. “I always try to add more realism than drama,” he explained, excited for viewers to witness the transformation on screen.

With a compelling character and a refreshing genre shift, Farman Haider’s presence in Jagadhatri promises to bring a new energy to the show—one that fans are eagerly waiting to watch. Farman Haider was last seen in shows like Saavi Ki Savaari, Aaina and Pocket Mein Aasman.
