Indian Television Awards took place on February 14, and Anupamaa, one of the most-watched shows, won big at the ceremony. Actor Sudhanshu Pandey opens up on his character Vanraj in an interaction with us.

Sudhanshu Pandey, who has taken the role of Vanraj Shah to new heights, recently won the best actor award at the Indian Television Academy award. This award is one of the oldest and prestigious ones in the industry today. When asked about his big day, the actor told us, "Adulation is always good. Appreciation does make one feel one is doing something right for sure. The audiences love and appreciation for Anupamaa as a show and my character Vanraj is amazing. The show has connected with everyone. I am grateful to producer Rajan Shahi. A show like Anupamaa is not made every day. It has touched audiences heart."
Speaking about the show, it revolves around the character Anupamaa, who is a homemaker. Just like any other women, Anupamaa dons multiple hats, and her life includes an endless amount of demands and to-dos. Still, the character is shown fulfilling all the requests with a smiling face. The titular role of Anupamaa is essayed by popular television actor, Rupali Ganguly, and supported by a talented ensemble cast including Sudhanshu Pandey as her husband in the show.
