Kashish Kapoor was robbed by her cook Sachin Kumar Chaudhary. He allegedly stole money from her Andheri, Mumbai, house. Despite having alluded to the occurrence on social media for days, Kashish broke down in tears and posted a YouTube video that revealed horrifying facts after the news surfaced on Sunday, July 13. She also acknowledged that her family was not informed of the theft.

Just one day before her flight to Singapore for work, Kashish disclosed that she had ₹7 lakh in cash on hand and intended to transfer it to her mother's account on July 9. She was shocked to discover the envelope was empty when she checked her locker. She abruptly stopped her cook in the elevator and requested him to come back after realising he had just left.

On getting pinned against the wall

In the video, Kashish said, "I forced him to show his pockets, and he threw Rs 50,000 cash bundle towards the washing machine. He thought I didn't see it, but I saw the money, and before I could call the cops, I was pinned against the wall. He pinned me and asked me not to call the cops on him. In my own house, I was pinned against the wall. In that moment, my head was like fight or flight. I agreed and asked him not to show his face to me ever."

Kashish further shared that she quickly called the guard to not let him leave, and she rushed up the stairs to catch him. Despite living on the 20th floor, she decided to climb all those floors down. Amid her rush, she felt sick in her stomach and wanted to puke. However, the cook escaped. Kashish then called the cops, and she called the cook back and handed him over to the police.

Kashish broke down in tears

She further revealed that this wasn't the first time he had robbed her residence. Kashish also shared that she didn't tell her parents as she didn't want to worry them. The Bigg Boss 18 fame felt betrayed by the cook,"I feel so betrayed. Mujhe shaq tha, par koi saboot nahi tha. He betrayed my trust and how! I caught him red-handed, and he still had the audacity to lie and say, 'Maine sirf 50,000 churaye.' Maine Sunday ko paise ginne the. I still have the receipts of the payments I have taken."

Kashish added, "In that moment, all I wanted was my money back and not even think about that I had been assaulted in my own house. The police told me that they can't guarantee that the money will be returned. I was fine with the process, but they weren't ready to guarantee that my money would return."
