Television couple Suyyash Rai and Kishwer Merchant are expecting their first child in August 2021. The couple talk about their pregnancy journey

Suyyash Rai and Kishwer Merchant are going to be parents soon. In a video shared on the Television actress' YouTube channel, the couple shared loads of interesting anecdotes from the time they discovered they are going have a baby - from their first reaction to the news of Kishwer's pregnancy to changes in the couple.
Talking about the reaction when they first discovered they were pregnant, the couple shared it was "unplanned" and it came as a shock. Suyyash said, "I got the pregnancy kit. She went to the washroom and after a while when she didn't come back, I went to check and found her on the toilet seat. She showed me the test and I went, 'Oh sh*t! Are you serious?'" There was pin-drop silence for a long time after that.

Suyyash and Kishwer have also decided on the name. In fact, it was decided within the first two months only. Though they did not reveal the names, Kishwer shared that Suyyash has decided on the name for a boy and she has decided on one for the girl.
Interestingly, just two days before the two got to know about Kishwer's pregnancy, her mother asked both of them about having a child, to which they told her that they were happy being ‘pet parents’ for now.
Further talking about conceiving naturally at 40, Kishwer said, "It was a miracle, blessing from God." Suyyash added, "When we see our friends or people around us freezing their eggs or opting for IVF, we feel blessed. We didn't plan it and she conceived it naturally. God just gave us to this naturally. There was no way we could refuse it."
Last week, the couple announced that they are expecting their first child in August 2021. "You can now stop asking ‘when are you guys gonna have a baby'. Coming Soon .. #august2021#sukishkababy," Kishwer wrote on Instagram, along with a picture. Suyyash also shared a similar picture and captioned it: "Mai tere bacche ka baap banne wala hun (I am going to be the father of your child) @kishwersmerchantt ! Coming this August."

Kishwer and Suyyash, who are fondly called as Sukish by fans, started dating in 2010. The two got married in 2016.
