While Mahesh Bhatt took a backseat from directing Naamkaran after having initially kicked-off the show, sources say the makers have approached him for help in shooting an upcoming scene. It is suggested that Bhatt will share his insights on the jail sequence, rumoured to be on the lines of his 1993 film, Gumrah, starring Sanjay Dutt and Sridevi.
