Anu Malik returns to judge Indian Idol, along with lyricist Manoj Muntashir. The lockdown in the state has made the makers shift the shoot of the reality show to Daman, which has made this season’s judges, Himesh Reshammiya, Vishal Dadlani and Neha Kakkar, go on a break.

Many shows, realising the threat of the current scenario (lockdown due to rising COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra) are already shifting shooting base outside the state. Hamari Wali Good News is going to be shot at Manesar in Haryana. Kundali Bhagya, Kumkum Bhagya, Qurbaan Hua and Apna Time Bhi Ayega move to Goa. Teri Meri ikk Jindri is shifting base to Jaipur while Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti is moving to Surat for now.

The latest promo of Indian Idol sees the new judges on the new sets.

The buzz is that Neha, Vishal and Himesha did not want to travel for the shoot.

Anu Malik shared on Instagram, "A feeling of great joy to be with some amongst the young talents at the #IndianIdolshow Looking forward to this weekend for the #SuhanaSafar special with @manojmuntashir, @adityanarayanofficial and the greatest talent ever only at #IndianIdol"
