Actor Parag Tyagi continues to remember his late wife, actress Shefali Jariwala, who died on June 27 this year. He recently discovered a more personal way to keep her close by having her face tattooed on his chest on their anniversary.
Parag gets Shefali's picture tattooed
On Sunday, Parag posted an Instagram video capturing the emotional moment he got Shefali's face tattooed. The video showed him standing silently during the inking process, and at the conclusion, the homage was revealed: a detailed tattoo of Shefali's face inscribed on his chest.
In the caption, he wrote: "Doston's wait is finally over. Here's my gift to Pari for our 15th anniversary. She is always present in my heart and in every cell of my body. "Now everybody can see it."
The tweet also included a thank you letter, with Parag sharing, "I want to thank Mandeep paji @addictionink47. For making it possible and doing an excellent job."
The gesture moved many social media users, who expressed their feelings in the comments area. One said, "Men like him are rare," while another said, "How sweet this unconditional love." "Forever and beyond," someone mentioned.
Earlier this month, Parag turned to Instagram to share a video and a message to Shefali on their 11th wedding anniversary. The couple originally met on August 12, 2010, and married exactly three years later, on the same date in 2014. He shared a video of treasured times spent with Shefali, including old photos and short recordings. Parag and Shefali were seen proudly wearing their wedding bands in one photograph.
"My love, my Jaan, and my Pari When I saw you for the first time 15 years ago, I knew you were the only one, and 11 years ago you chose to marry me on the same date we met. I can't thank you enough for coming into my life and giving me great unconditional love that I may not have deserved," Parag wrote beside the video.
He further added, “You made my life so beautiful and colourful, u taught me how to live life in masti & Now Living & cherishing all our masti wali (fun-filled) wonderful memories. Love you till my last breath Pari & even after that. From 12th Aug 2010 till eternity. Forever Together.”
All about Shefali's demise
Shefali, who rose to prominence with her role in the remix tune Kaanta Laga, died on June 27 at the age of 42. Parag took her to Bellevue Multispecialty Hospital. However, she was certified dead upon arrival. She is thought to have died as a result of a cardiac arrest, but the exact cause of death has yet to be determined. The Mumbai Police sent her body for a post-mortem to determine the cause of death. Following the autopsy, police officials stated that the cause of death had been'reserved'. Throughout her career, she appeared in television reality series such as Nach Baliye and Bigg Boss 13.
