Raksha Bandhan is one of the auspicious festivals where the emotions between the brother and sister are celebrated. Amid artists celebrating the auspicious occasion, Yuvika Chaudhary exclusively spoke to mid-day, talking about her daughter Ekleen's first Raksha Bandhan with her little cousin, preparations, and more.
On celebrating Rakshabandhan
Yuvika shared how the festival feels extremely special to her, "This Raksha Bandhan is very, very special. Like how my birthday was special. It just went on 2nd August. Everything is very special. Because it's Ekleen's first time celebrating everything. I want to see her reaction. For the first time. It is going to be a whole new experience altogether. I am enjoying every moment with her. I have started celebrating every moment. We are in a phase of making fond memories with the little one and dressing her up. Raksha Bandhan is coming, and we have been busy buying clothes for her. All those Indian outfits. And trying out this look, that look on her. I keep on shooting with her. She enjoys shooting. All that is happening."
Yuvika has been busy shopping for Indian outfits for the little one to try on for the festive season. She said, "I am going to set her outfits. Matching outfits with her. All that fun is happening. Her mini wardrobe is already set. I think there will be a replacement. In the coming time, my grand wardrobe will become Ekleen's completely. She will be tying Rakhi to her brother and my nephew for the first time. We are all excited to see her enjoy this moment."
Yuvika's heartfelt moments
Yuvika further shared about her heartfelt moments, "Oh God, she says so cutely, papa, mama. It just melts our hearts, and Prince, he's so emotional. She's pampered by everyone. Be it her Dada, dadi, nana, nani. Everyone is constantly pampering her. Even her mama mami and her cute brother. She's one spoiled child. It feels so emotional, it feels like she is growing up quickly. I keep telling Prince will have to get strict with her, but both of us are super soft. We melt in seconds with her smile. But one of us will have to get a little tougher."
