On the occasion of World Environment Day, Actor Ravi Bhatia who is currently seen in Shukla the Tiger, urges people to understand the responsibility towards the god-gifted environment. He says, "The environment is god gifted to the entire living world, it not only includes humans beings but also all animals, trees, plants, natural vegetation etc. But we human are treating it as our property and taking everything for granted. It's important to care for the environment we live in, not only for our health but for our survival too. With the Coronavirus pandemic, the usage of plastic has increased two-fold. And now its our responsibility to balance  it back."


The actor wants people to celebrate the festival of the earth with the same excitement we enjoy for religious festivals. "As it is must to protect nature on this planet, and that is why it is celebrated to motivate people to do positive environmental work. I feel people should be excited and energetic for celebrating the festival of earth. The day must have equal importance like Diwali, Eid and Christmas in our lives. We all should join the celebration and resolve to save our environment for a better future," he added.


Ravi has earlier featured in television shows like Jodha Akbar, Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se and Ishq Subhan Allah.
