"When I do that (project with the TV channel), my graduation or attempt to becoming a director or a producer will happen automatically...Till that happens I am going to stay away from daily soaps,” Ronit told IANS.
The actor added: “In my experience when someone else is doing it (directing a TV show), what I hear on the outset is different from where I find myself after a month's telecast."
The actor refrained from giving out any information about the project, but said he will be driving the show.
He said: "I have spoken to the channel in discussion and they have agreed that I drive the show since I will be putting my money where my mouth is. They are okay with me driving it."
