Sa Ra Ga Ma Pa and team organise a 'havan' for speedy recovery of Lata Mangeshkar

Zee TV recently returned with its most iconic, longest-running singing reality show that has stayed relevant to music lovers across the country - Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2021. The show started off with a bang and the talented contestants of this season have already managed to impress the audience. However, viewers are in for a treat this weekend as veteran musician Anandji Virji Shah will join the judges as a special guest on the show. Known to have created magic alongside legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, Anandji will also be seen sharing some interesting anecdotes about her.


The Nightingale of India, Lata Mangeshkar, has won over every generation through her wonderful songs and adorable tweets. However, the ace singer has been hospitalized for a few weeks now and is critical. While prayers and wishes continue to pour in from all corners of the country, Zee TV Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’s judge - Shankar Mahadevan, alongside guest Anandji Virji Shah arranged for a havan on the sets of the reality show to pray for the veteran singer’s speedy recovery. In fact, the contestants of the show also joined in for the havan. 


Praying for the legendary musician’s wellbeing, Shankar Mahadevan said, “We pray that all our positive energies reach the universe and our Saraswati, Lata Mangeshkar ji, returns home all hale and hearty.”


Apart from offering their prayers, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contestants also paid a tribute to the Nightingale of India as they sang ‘Ek Tu Hi Bharosa’ and ‘Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hain’ on the big stage. During this Lata Mangeshkar special episode, Anandji Virji also shared some of his fondest memories with the singer. You cannot miss these never-heard-before anecdotes!
