It's official! TV channel Colors officially announced the airing date of the 10th season of 'Bigg Boss' on their official Twitter page. The popular reality show, which has attracted several controversies over the years will be hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan yet again.

Salman Khan, who returns to host the show, donned a variety of different avatars for the promos including an <a href="http://www.mid-day.com/articles/salman-khan-turns-astronaut-for-bigg-boss-10-promo/17565170" target="_blank">astronaut</a> and a desi version of <a href="http://www.mid-day.com/articles/sallu-ka-style-salman-khan-turns-desi-indiana-jones-for-bigg-boss-10/17574187" target="_blank">Indiana Jones</a>.
Gender equality activist and the founder of Bhumata Brigade, Trupti Desai, is reportedly wants to participate in reality TV show 'Bigg Boss 10', but <a href="http://www.mid-day.com/articles/trupti-desai-bigg-boss-10-participants-contestants-salman-khan-bollywood-news-tv/17606171" target="_blank">insisted that the voice of 'Bigg Boss' should be female</a>.

Salman Khan, who was said to be paid around Rs 6-8 crore per episode to host 'Bigg Boss 9', will apparently get a <a href="http://www.mid-day.com/articles/salman-khan-to-get-a-hike-of-30-per-cent-for-bigg-boss-10/17062205" target="_blank">30 per cent hike in fee</a> this season.
'Bigg Boss 10' will air on Colors at 9:00 PM from October 16.
