Siddharth Nigam is an Indian actor who began his career at a young age and has since established himself as a recognised face across film and digital platforms. He gained early recognition with his debut in Dhoom 3, where he played the younger version of Aamir Khan’s character, and has since been a part of projects like Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Hai Junoon, building a strong connection with audiences through his performances.

Siddharth Nigam on World Theatre Day

On the occasion of World Theatre Day, Siddharth reflected on how theatre has played a significant role in shaping both his craft and his personality, especially through his recent play Ek Radha. Having started performing at a very young age, he shared that while acting has always been a part of his life, theatre brings a depth of learning that stands apart from other mediums.

“I started really young, so for me, performing has always been a part of life. But theatre specifically has played a very important role. It teaches you things that no camera or set can teach like being present, being honest in the moment, and holding the audience’s attention without any cuts. As an actor, it makes you sharper and more real. And as a person, it keeps you grounded. Because no matter how much you achieve, when you step on stage, it’s just you and your craft… nothing else matters. That’s something that has really stayed with me,” says Siddharth.

Siddharth plays the pivotal role opposite Gulki Joshi. Interestingly, the play is written by Gulki's father and has the backdrop of love growing between inter-faith and communal enimty.

On his work front

For Siddharth, theatre continues to be a powerful space of learning, one that constantly pushes him to be more present, authentic, and connected. His experience with Ek Radha further reflects his growing engagement with live performance and storytelling.

Siddharth Nigam was last seen on TV with Hero: Gayab Mode On with his brother Abhishek Nigam. The actor is known for his fantasy and historic roles. Fans have been waiting for the actor to do a show on TV again.
