Sudhanshu Pandey from ‘Anupamaa’ on Star Plus, joins mid-day.com as he speaks about the past year and shares her hopes and wishes for the New Year. Read on to know more!

How do you plan to ring in New Year’s?
I’m ringing in New Year’s with a couple of close friends of mine. We are going to be chilling at home. As per government protocols, we are not calling too many people home or go out to any place which is crowded. So it’s going to be a chilled out evening at home. We will bring in the New Year peacefully.

Your wish list and hopes for the New Year?
I hope to be able to do a lot of good in the coming year and hope to get more respect and recognition for what I do. I hope to get better at my craft.

The best thing that happened to you in 2021?
The best thing that happened, was a lot of learning because we have been through tough times. My wife, son and I got Covid-19 and we learnt to deal with the situation with the least possible amenities and without the luxuries we are used to! The biggest learning has been that you don’t need much, just love and family around!

Your New Year’s resolution for 2022?
My resolution is to get better at my job. I also want to get fitter and inspire people around me to look after themselves and focus on both their mental and physical health.
