A popular name in showbiz with over a million followers on social media, actor Karan Tacker, has earned a heartthrob’s reputation. While he has made his presence felt in various television roles, his transition to the OTT platform has been seamless. Meet Udit Sehgal; a dynamic Delhi boy plunged into the music world to pursue what he truly loves. Udit started his musical journey when he learned how to sing and play the guitar at 12. Udit’s mere interest in music soon turned into a passion. He began practising regularly, and then there was no stopping him!
The fad of music made him hit the B’Town world, winning several competitions, creating a buzz about the rising star amongst the top melodists of Bollywood. Udit vividly recalls the days when the cousin duo would listen to hard-core rock music. Together they would jam to Green Day and Pink Floyd. Like Udit, Karan is an avid music lover, and their love for music brought them closer, and soon developed a significant bond.
Despite living in different cities with busy schedules, Karan's bond with Udit has been unbreakable. They are constantly in touch, updating each other about their lives and also celebrating every milestone together!
Udit Sehgal received his first break with the song ‘Dooriyan’ written by Udit himself. The song was released on YouTube and soon became a massive hit. This inspired Udit for his next song, ‘Tu Chal Saath,’ released by Zee Music. His song ‘Woh’, in collaboration with T-series, received tremendous appreciation crossing 2.3 million views.
Even though they are cousins, they identify better as friends. Family is by default, but the same energy levels and similar perspectives have made them even more compatible, bringing them much closer as friends. Udit often seeks Karan’s advice due to his varied experience and success. And multiple times, Karan goes out of his way to help Udit!
Udit often recalls Karan's earlier days of struggle and constantly expresses how proud he is of all that he has established in such little time!
