Rupali Ganguly-starrer ‘Anupamaa’ completed six years on Monday (July 13). “It still feels unbelievable,” says the actor, adding that women telling her, ‘I found courage because of Anupamaa’, has been the role’s biggest reward. “This character has changed my life in ways I could never have imagined. I am deeply grateful to Rajan Shahi for trusting me, and my husband, who has been my biggest pillar of support. He has stood by me while I spend 12 to 13 hours on set every day.” The upcoming track explores why women often do not have a permanent home in either their parental house or the one they marry into. “It is one of the most meaningful conversations we’ve had on ‘Anupamaa’. Through this story, we’re asking a simple but important question that will resonate with so many people,” adds Ganguly.
