Uorfi Javed, who has long been at the receiving end of trolling, abuse, and harsh criticism for her bold fashion choices, has once again spoken about online harassment she is facing. She called out a man who threatened to morph her pictures. Sharing his profile, Uorfi expressed shock over the misuse of technology and urged women facing similar situations to file complaints.
Uorfi Javed hits back at troll threatening her
While sharing a profile of an unknown man, Uorfi revealed that the guy has been harassing her and threatening to morph her pictures. She said, “This guy has been harassing me to morph my pictures and upload them (he did, in fact, morph one and send me a picture)."
She further expressed her disappointment about the way people are misusing technology and added, “I can’t believe what these men are doing with the technology available today. I will file an official complaint, but ladies, if you’re under such circumstances, please do not be scared; go file a complaint. You are not the problem; it’s these men who are a blot on our society."
After winning The Traitors, the actor was abused, after which she strongly took a stand for herself. In a now-deleted post, she wrote, “When you don’t like something a girl does, just drop the ‘R’ word. Not the first time I’ve been threatened or abused like this, but this time it’s not because of my clothes but because I won a show. Imagine being so petty that when your favourite player doesn’t win, you resort to abusing and threatening. These are the most decent ones I uploaded. No matter what I do, people just love hating and abusing.”

On the work front, Uorfi was last seen in The Traitors India, where she emerged as a winner alongside poker player Nikita Luther. The show was hosted by Karan Johar and starred Karan Kundrra, Apoorva Mukhija, Sufi Motiwala, Jasmine Bhasin and many others. While she hasn’t officially announced her next project, reports suggest that she will return with Season 2 of her reality show Follow Karlo Yaar.
