The Holi special episode of Wheel of Fortune will see Akshay Kumar joined by guests Anil Kapoor, Radhika Madan, and Saurabh Shukla in a lively and engaging episode.
During the show, an audience member shared that he is a big fan of Anil Kapoor and Akshay Kumar, and an even bigger fan of the movie Welcome. He revealed he had brought the famous Majnu Bhai painting and wanted to know the story behind it. Anil Kapoor then revealed that he still has the original Majnu Bhai painting. He added, “sabse pehle toh Akshay Sahab ke saath maine ye film ki thi Welcome 1, fir 2 mein ye nahi the, fir 3 mein mujhe nikal diya aur Welcome 4 hum fir saath mein karenge.” leaving audiences excited.
Anil Kapoor and Akshay Kumar to reunite?
Speaking about the painting, Anil Kapoor said, “Log ye painting ke saath memes banate rehte hain, magar iske peeche ek depth hai, ek story hai, aur ek seriousness bhi hai. Aap log iska mazaak uda dete ho, memes bana ke, aur log sochte hain, kaisi painting hai.”
The audience member then mentions that there are also t-shirts available of this painting. Radhika revealed that she also has the t-shirt. To this, Anil Kapoor revealed that he earns money from those t-shirts, leaving Akshay Kumar visibly shocked.
Delving deeper, Anil Kapoor explained the philosophy behind the painting, saying, “Iske peeche ek philosophy hai” He went on to describe the imagery, pointing out that the painting shows a horse and a donkey. He explained that the horse is active and fast, while the donkey is the opposite. He then asked the audience if they were a horse or a donkey. Most audience members responded 'horse.' Anil elaborated, noting that as the horse does all the work fast but the appreciation is taken away by the donkey, comparing the horse to an employee and the donkey to the boss, which had the audience in fits of laughter.
Akshay Kumar is all praise for Radhika Madan
Akshay Kumar also had a special intro for Radhika Madan. His heartfelt introduction reflected both the festive mood and his genuine affection for Radhika Madan. He continued by adding, “Maine inke saath ek film ki hai. Ye un logon mein se hain, ya toh main ye keh sakta hoon ki ye un co-actors mein se hain jo aapko apna best performance dene ke liye majboor kar dete hain. Matlab ye jab acting karte hain, tab mujhe apne aap hi performance aana shuru ho jaata hai. Aisa lagta hai main abhi-abhi kisi bahut bade institute se nikal ke aaya hoon, mujhe acting ki saari cheezein pata lagna shuru ho gayi hain.”
Despite mentioning that she is relatively new to the industry, Akshay turned to Radhika and asked how many years it had been for her. When she replied that it has been 7–8 years, he candidly shared, “I am very choosy about anybody ki bhot acchi actor hai ki nhi, but I would consider her a one very good actor in our film industry.”
