Ruhaanika on prioristising her studies
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Ruhaanika shared, "I am very happy to have scored 91 per cent in my boards. I have worked really hard. I halted my acting career for three years to focus on my studies, and now I feel it was all worth it."
“While other actors my age were working and taking up projects, I chose to focus on my studies," she added.
The former child star, who has completed her A-levels under the Cambridge curriculum, is leaning towards business and economics and wants to pursue a degree in the latter.
She further states, "I am currently preparing for entrance exams at prestigious colleges across Maharashtra and other parts of India. The more flexible schedule in college will give me the time I need to focus on acting again.”
Earlier, she expressed her desire to join a performing arts school in India or abroad and make a comeback on screen.
Ruhaanika purchased a house at the age of 15
Ruhaanika, who started her career with Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein and later went on to work in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, and was also seen in the film Ghayal Once Again, gave credit to the way her mother saved the money and invested it methodically which encouraged her to purchase a 3 BHK flat at such an early stage of her life.
She told IANS, "It took 7 or 8 years to happen and it won't be possible without the support of my parents and especially my mother. Every penny of my earnings was saved by my mother and she invested it properly. God has been so kind that we got good returns out of the savings and everything. My father has invested in funds. So, I got a lot of support and motivation from my parents and thus it finally happened.”
