The controversy began after Badshah appeared on comedian Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent. During the conversation, Samay asked him about the story behind his stage name. Badshah, whose real name is Aditya Prateek Singh, reportedly said that he came up with the name “Badshah” himself.
